“We are pleased at the addition of Zamboanga into our network, as our services here allow us to add yet another hub of commerce and trade into our ever-expanding network,” Ma. Bettina Q. de Vera, Air Philippines Corp. corporate communications manager said in a statement Friday.
She added that the new route will be serviced by a newly-purchased 180-seater A320 aircraft. The carrier has nine planes and flies to 28 destinations.
“This is the new A320 route announced just in a span of five months,” the statement added.
Airphil Express said it will add more daily flight services in December.
“With the additional jet aircraft, double daily flights to Tagbilaran and
Legaspi will also be mounted on December 1, shortly after their launch services on October 28,” Ms. De Vera said.
